Scott Miller
Scott Miller is a retired Microsoft executive with an extensive background in electronics, data and computer systems.
After more than three decades of recreational and liveaboard boating experience, Miller launched his second career as a Marine Surveyor.
Scott is a member of the American Boat and Yacht Council and has ABYC Advisor Certifications in Electrical, Systems and Standards. He has extensive experience maintaining boats and specializes in electronics and network/data systems and getting the best connectivity for working aboard. Scott also brings his 20+ years’ experience in Data and Cloud connectivity working for Microsoft to the industry and to cruisers seeking for connectivity solutions.
You can count on Miller to help safely navigate you around the not-always-so-obvious pitfalls in choosing the right vessel in the right condition. Leveraging his sea-earned skills, detail-oriented (albeit a bit obsessive) nature and time-tested experience, Scott is able to bring detailed condition and valuation for your boat purchase decisions.
Scott and his wife Teri spend their spare time cruising aboard their Kadey Krogen 58 “Miller Time” up and down the East Coast and Bahamas.
